Dean Turner is an Associate Senior Development Manager with over 20 years of experience advising clients and leading the delivery of complex development and construction projects. Beginning his career as a qualified builder, his experience now spans contractor, developer and consultancy roles, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the commercial, technical and delivery challenges that shape major developments.

Dean is known for bringing a pragmatic, commercially focused approach to complex projects, helping clients navigate risk, maintain momentum and deliver developments with greater certainty. Having worked across contractor, developer and advisory environments, he brings a balanced perspective that aligns commercial, delivery and stakeholder priorities.

Prior to relocating to Canada, Dean was involved in the delivery of several significant developments in New Zealand, including major city-centre and complex commercial projects. Now based in Vancouver, he supports the continued growth of RCP’s Canadian operations while advising clients delivering complex developments across the region. 

Dean is passionate about the full lifecycle of development, from early concept through to completion, and understands that successful projects are grounded in clear alignment between client objectives, commercial strategy and delivery approach. He takes pride in leading and contributing to high-performing teams focused on achieving defined outcomes, where strong leadership and collaboration drive momentum and certainty. For Dean, success is measured not only in project delivery, but in creating enduring environments that support communities, businesses and long-term value.
